Ramblings of a Baltimore area Realtor: Pappas Restaurant in Cockeysville

Pappas Restaurant in Cockeysville

Pappas Restaurant in Cockeysville

Last week my quilt group had our annual Christmas luncheon at Pappas Restaurant in Cockeysville.  The restaurant is located at 550 Cranbrook Road in Cockeysville.  There is plenty of free parking in the shopping center.  It is located in what used to be Patrick's.  I had never been there before, despite hearing their ads on the radio all the time.  The thought was that it's a sports bar and it will be noisy but it wasn't. The restaurant was busy but they had plenty of very pleasant wait staff who were only too happy to help, keep our glasses filled, give separate checks (there were 12 in our group) and take pictures for us.

I had the crab cake lunch platter and it was delicious, others had a salad  but most of us had crab cakes which is their signature dish.

I would definitely come back.  The service was excellent and the food a great value.

I have heard great things about Pappas.  I have not been there yet.  Oprah had Pappas Crab Cakes on her Favorite Things this year...that is quite an endoresement and a boon for their business I am sure!

That looks delicious. I love crab cakes, but the lump kind. I don't like cooked red peppers and usually the ones with the filling always has those red peppers mixed in. Thanks for sharing your lunch with us!
