Ramblings of a Baltimore area Realtor: Do You Need a New Mattress?

Do You Need a New Mattress?

Do You Need a New Mattress?

I recently moved into my own place.  I think every Realtor should move at least once, it gives us a new perspective on helping our clients.

In moving into my own place I found I needed some things.  I still have a small list but it's getting smaller and smaller and I'm getting really acquainted with Goodwill, both for donating what I no longer have a use for but also for picking up inexpensive things that I don't have.

However, you probably can't or don't want to buy a mattress and box spring at Goodwill.

I needed a new mattress and box spring and shopped around.  I had almost decided on one at Big Lots when I checked out Craigslist.   I found a listing for new mattress and box spring for $150 so I called. The advertised bed didn't suit me, but I did find something better that I liked.

I visited Baltimore Bedding at 9516 Deerco Road in Timonium, MD 21093.  You'll want to call James at 410-905-1913 (be sure to tell him that June Piper-Brandon sent you) before you go, he's not there all the time.

I was going to pay $599 for the one I had decided on at Big Lots.  But  I got a much nicer bed for $371  from Baltimore Bedding.  They have every size and several different styles too and their prices are great and if you  need it they do have same day delivery.

Wow, that is a great price! You can't get them that reasonable in our area. The last set we got cost $1,100!

Great mattress. Very cheap and reasonable price. I prefer plush feel mattress. My bed is very old. I decide to buy a new mattress as early as possible. I learned from Mattress Insight that the too-soft mattress and too-firm mattress both are harmful to the health. A soft mattress can cause many back pain problems and a firm mattress can cause body aches and increases pressure points. I will buy a medium-firm plush feel mattress my me and my family..
