Keep Baltimore Beautiful
This is a pet peeve of mine and has always been. I'm from Canada, where the streets are mostly clean and everything is clean and beautiful. I have taught my kids to put their waste in the proper waste receptical. Whether it's a trash can or recycle or compost or what ever. But you don't throw your trash on the ground, especially when there are trash cans around and what is wrong with taking it home with you and putting it in the proper trash can?
I was in the drive through at a local fast food restaurant once and someone opened their care door and dumped their trash right there in the parking lot, not 10 feet away was a trash can. Hello? People? WTF!!! Really? I can't believe it.
Today was a beautiful day. I participated in the Live Baltimore City Living Starts Here event. After it was over I walked outside to my care and within 10 feet of a really nice facility (with ample trash cans) in beautiful Greektown neighborhood there's trash on the ground.
Can we, each one of us, please pick up your trash and put it in a trash can and keep this country beautiful please?
End of my rant for today!! Thank you!!
