Don't Forget to Ask for the Testimonial
Right at the closing table, don't forget to ask your client for their testimonial right when the completion of the sale is fresh in their mind and they are happy about getting the keys or releasing the keys for their home.
My settlement person will often help with that and take pictures of the happy moment, or if the lender is there they can help too.
Testimonials in writing are great.
Video testimonials area becoming very popular too.
I also ask for testimonials on Zillow and on Homes.com Buyers and sellers do look at those reviews when looking for a Realtor to buy or sell a home.
Then when you have them, share them. Post them on your blog, on your Facebook page and anywhere you can. Testimonials are like business cards, they don't do you any good unless you share them!!
