Maple Woods, Catonsville, MD 21228 - Market Report

Maple Woods is a small townhouse community in Catonsville.  It is nestled between Edmondson Ave and Baltimore National Pike off of Harlem Lane.  The community is comprised of 80 townhomes built in 1995.  The community is served by Westowne Elementary School (a brand new school located next door) and Catonsville Middle and Catonsville High School.  The location is served by several buslines going into the City of Baltimore and to Old Court Metro Station as well as the UMBC shuttle and is located between two exits from I-695 close to I-70.  It is a quick commute from here to the Halethorpe MARC stop, BWI Airport, Ft. Meade and Baltimore City.  This is a limited access community with only one access road to Harlem Lane which makes it nice and private.  There is also great green space too which makes the neighborhood feel less urban.  There are several different floor plans, each with 3 bedrooms and at least 2 1/2 baths, some with 2 half baths, some with 3 1/2 baths, all with lower levels (many with walk out basements).  There is no assigned parking in the community and the streets are serviced by Baltimore County.

Maple WoodsHomes in this neighborhood are in the affordable price range  between $230,000 to $270,000 and with Baltimore County taxes, Baltimore City water and low Home Owner's Association  fees this could be a great choice for home owners.

Average List Price for homes in Maple Woods is:  $257,300

Average Sales Price is:  $258,000

Average Days on Market is:  15 days

There are currently no active listings for sale in Maple Woods.  This is a great indicator for seller's thinking to sell in this great neighborhood.
