Ramblings of a Baltimore area Realtor: Honey Harvest Festival at Oregon Ridge

Honey Harvest Festival at Oregon Ridge

Honey Harvest Festival

Oregon Ridge

October 6 and 7, 2018 - 11am to 4pm

One of the things I love about the fall, besides the colorful leaves, are the abundance of fall family friendly festivals.

Bring the whole family out for the 35th annual Honey Harvest Festival at the Nature Center in Oregon Ridge off Shawan Road in Hunt Valley.  Entrance is free!!  There may be a fee for some activities.

Learn about honeybees from the 2018 American Honey Princess.  Activities include open honeybee hive demonstrations, honey extractions, mead making, honey ice cream making, apple cider pressing, wool spinning, live music, civil war reenactments, blacksmithing, food trucks, puppet shows, animals, face painting, local honey product sales, vendors, crafts and much more.

Good morning June - I like honey and I would certainly love to attend this event to learn more about the hives.

Sounds like a fun harvest event for your community, June.  I wish I were there.
